Hawke's Bay Hawke's Bay
A taste of the best in Hawke's Bay...
Hawke’s Bay is the perfect place to mix business and pleasure with our premium food and wine, stunning landscapes and architecture. These elements combined with our fantastic climate offer the perfect platform for your next event and delegates will be sure to want to stay on.

The region offers a wide range and high standard of accommodation, including 3 to 5 star hotels, serviced apartments and motels. Luxury lodges, hosted and self contained are also ideal for some seclusion. The venues in Hawke’s Bay can cater for groups from 20 to 2500 people in theatre style, and with locations as varied as the towns CBD’s, secluded rural vistas or amongst the vines, there is something to suit everyone.

Hawke's Bay Activities & Attractions
Hawke’s Bay is a food and wine lovers paradise so be sure to bring your appetite. Indulge in what we get to enjoy every day - take a tour, cooking class, browse the weekly Farmers Markets or dine at one of the many winery restaurants. Hawke’s Bay is New Zealand’s oldest wine region, and is the country’s leading producer of finest quality red wines. With wine and food Trail Guides you can 'self drive' with a local transport company, take a professional wine tour with one of the many experienced guides or hire a bike and enjoy a leisurely day out cycling through vineyards and olive groves whilst taking in the spectacular landscapes and scenery. There are over 70 wineries in the region, so why not plan a tasting for your Hawke's Bay conference group at one of the 40 cellar doors open to visitors.

What makes Hawke’s Bay truly unique is the 1930’s architecture that adorns the cities of Napier and Hastings, which were rebuilt from a major earthquake in 1931. Walking around the cities today is like taking a step back in time and whether your group takes a walking tour, have transfers in vintage cars or get dressed for a gala dinner in art deco attire, it is an era you can easily have some fun with and incorporate into your event.

Hawke’s Bay’s landscape is made up of mountains, vineyards, farmland, river valleys and beaches, making it the ideal playground for lovers of nature and the great outdoors. 17 golf courses are scattered throughout the region, including the internationally renowned Cape Kidnappers which is not far from our world famous mainland gannet colony. Groups can also enjoy clay bird shooting, trout fishing, white-water rafting, kayaking, horse riding, quad biking, interactive Maori culture experiences and much more.

For incentives, stunning views and plenty of thrills can be had in the skies in hot air balloons and helicopters or with experienced skydiving and paragliding professionals. Purpose built cycle-ways allow visitors to explore at their own pace while those more daring can take to one of the adventurous mountain bike trails.

All fabulous ways to break up a day of business meetings...
