Conference Venues & Facilities

The Bay of Plenty is home to an extensive range of  venues and array of quality facilities to suit your conference. Whether it is for 10 or 700 people, many  have been wonderfully surprised and are recommending the destination for that bit of laidback sophistication. Nobody does beachfront like the Bay of Plenty; host your delegates on and over the ocean in one of our many waterfront venues in spectacular proximity to the  ever changing coastline.

Accommodation in the Bay of Plenty varies from five star boutique lodges to well-appointed hotels with conference facilities; some sitting over and above the water. ‘Wow’ your delegates with boutique accommodation located in the heart of Tauranga’s city centre. Apartment style accommodation is available throughout the region and is generally teamed with stunning views of either white sandy beaches or the bustling Port of Tauranga, hosting approximately 80 international cruise liners per season. Choose from three absolute beachfront holiday parks, boasting both luxury garden and beachfront villas and conference facilities guaranteed to impress.

Unforgettable Experiences

Head to Whakaari (White Island), New Zealand’s only active marine volcano. Fly incentive delegates along the stunning coastline in either a fixed wing aircraft or helicopter above the steaming crater for a once in a lifetime experience, or take a little longer and chance catching a glimpse of dolphin pods playing in the wake of a luxury catamaran launch.

For the more active groups, visit the home of blokarts, located centrally in Papamoa, where delegates have the chance to let their competitive side shine through. These three wheeled, land based yachts are designed to provide a revolutionary new speed thrill. Finish the day by offering a relaxing soak at Mount Maunganui’s hot salt water pools, under the shadow of Mauao or enjoy a guided warm sunset walk around or up the iconic ‘Mount’.
