Where to find us
Invercargill is the southernmost city in New Zealand, nestled in the majestic province of Southland. Invercargill is very accessible with daily flights from Auckland (via Christchurch), Wellington or Christchurch, and the airport is just a five minute drive from the city. Driving from Dunedin or Queenstown takes just 2½ hours through some of the most spectacular scenery imaginable.
Invercargill is home to one of the most beautiful inner city parks; Queens Park is a five minute walk from the central city and offers visitors a chance to stroll around the Rose Garden or a leisurely walk through the aviary and gardens.
Southland is surrounded by lakes and mountains – we are on the doorstep of Rakiura National Park on Stewart Island and the world heritage listed Fiordland National Park – the home of Milford and Doubtful Sounds. Take a drive on the Southern Scenic Route, the Catlins or bring your bike and ride on the Around the Mountains Cycle Trail.
