Lizzi Pearson - Bio
Lizzi has been in the hospitality industry for 22 years, starting out as a chef working  in restaurants, patisseries as well as a private chef in Europe and the Caribbean. Lecturing at AUT in Patisserie for a number of years, taught patience and the platform to pass on her enthusiasm for making the hospitality industry a career. 

Falling in love with the diverse nature and constantly changing environment of catering, the path led from the kitchen to sales and retail management. Lizzi has been at Urban Gourmet in the role of General Manager for 18 months and has been instrumental in the growth and evolution of the brand. Collaboration and relationships are key and this builds the foundation of her leadership.

Natalie Reid - Bio
My career in hospitality started in 1999 in Auckland as Mini bar attendant and later moving into Room Service.  Mid 2001, I decided it would be valuable to gain International experience and therefore moved to Australia where I lived in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, gaining more experience in Food & Beverage with a main focus on Banquets and events. At the time, it was my goal to one day become an Event Coordinator as I was attracted to selling and organising events. I felt the best way to do this was to learn from the bottom and to gain as much experience as possible. In 2003, this became a reality and I moved into Sales & Marketing as an Event Coordinator. 

While in Sydney, I was part of the opening team for Hilton Sydney Hotel, with 23 function rooms and over 500 bedrooms, as one of the hotel’s Event Managers. After some enriching experiences in Australia whilst looking after some high scale events, I made the move to London to work as Conference & Events Manager at Hilton London Metropole, a hotel with 44 function rooms and over 1000 bedrooms. 
 
At the end of 2009, I returned to New Zealand to take up the role of  Event  Sales Manager at Hilton Auckland & Hilton Lake Taupo where I was responsible for the full sales and event management cycle for both hotels. In 2013 I had the opportunity to join The Langham Auckland, as Director of Conference & Events where I was responsible for developing the sales strategy, pricing, demand calendars and budgets. 
 
Most recently I joined  Pullman Auckland as Director of Sales & Marketing where I am working on providing all leisure and corporate Guests with a luxury experience, implementing actions plans to boost sales and revenue across all departments, ensuring the hotel is promoted across online and offline channels, targeting national and international markets within mice, corporate, leisure, sports & entertainment segments.
