Available for private hire, evenings in winter. Can also be used for pre-dinner cocktails for large events.
THE WELLINGTON ROWING CLUB
The function room holds up to 100 for a formal sit down meal or up to 140 for a mix and mingle event. Access is via two staircases, one indoor and one outdoor. Please note that there is no wheelchair access.
The Rowing Club has arguably the most spectacular views in Wellington.
This room has a beautiful wooden floor and is painted a light cream to offset the crystal blue waters visible through windows which surround the room on three sides.
Excellent indoor/outdoor flow to the deck area overlooking the lagoon and the inner harbour.
PIPITEA MARAE & FUNCTION CENTRE
Pipitea Marae and Function Centre is managed by Manaaki -The Wellington Functions Team.
Renovations to the exterior, saw the Pipitea Marae Ātea (outside area) place second in the "Innovation Public Open Spaces" category of the Wellington Civic Trust awards 2014.
The internal renovations bring it up to a modern and fresh venue, ready for all styles of events. This function facility is ready and waiting to host your event.
