Of Te Atiawa descent and originally from Nelson, Loren has an extensive background in both destination management and major events having held previous roles as Special Projects Manager at Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development, General Manager Tourism and Events with Ngati Whatua Orakei and International Marketing Manager for Nelson Tasman Tourism.
