Over the past 15+ years, Sam has worked in the Tourism and Events industry throughout New Zealand, Japan and Australia. Sam started his career in New Zealand with AJ Hackett Bungy before moving to Japan to take up the role of Operations Manager at Bungy Japan to focus on setting up new jump sites across the country. Sam then changed tack moving to Melbourne and working in the attractions, amusement, and events industry over the last seven years. After weathering majority of the Covid-19 storm in Australia, Sam moved back to New Zealand and is now heading up Weta Workshop Unleashed in Auckland as Area Manager. Across his career he’s specialized in operations management, strategy, and business development and most importantly, leading and optimising large teams to maximize business results. Sam has recently completed his Masters of Business Administration and currently sits on the Board of Young TEC where he hopes to help inspire the next generation of Tourism and Events leaders across Aotearoa.

Sharon joined BEIA (formerly CINZ) in 1996 as Manager, Australia responsible for running the Australian operation. Sharon is an experienced business-to-business marketing professional in the corporate conference and events industry. Her 25+ year career includes roles in sales and marketing at leading 5-star hotel groups - Intercontinental and Four Seasons Regent Hotels.
