At The Fat Lamb, our focus is to delight our customers with warm & welcoming southern hospitality. True to our motto, ‘Paddock To Plate,’ we offer authentic ingredients straight from some of NZ’s most trusted suppliers. Provenance Farms, Te Mana, Cardrona Valley & Leeland Farms provide us with their sustainably raised, premium NZ Lamb, our wild shot venison comes from Fare Game in Fiordland, and trusted fisherman from the NZ coastline catch our sustainable seafood. Along with local produce & wine selection to match, we’re especially passionate about providing you with a uniquely New Zealand culinary experience.

With our multi-level venue, The Fat Lamb has an upstairs dining area that can seat up to 80 guests, a downstairs lounge that can seat up to 25 guests, and a bar on both levels to accommodate for groups of all sizes. We also have an outside area that can seat up to 31 guests at any one time (weather permitting). And with two separate entrances, we are able to hold two groups exclusively at the same time on different levels.

Additionally, we can offer our whole venue for up to 180 people with standing tables, finger food/canape stations and full bar service.

Our team strives to provide a customized experience tailored to any group. Menus can be designed to suit dietaries & allergies & we can also create a customized beverage list for your convenience.
