Amy Abel
Amy has worked as a Professional Conference Organiser for over 11 years, having spent her career organising National and International Conferences in the UK and Europe, and the last 6 years here in New Zealand. Amy has experience organsing conferences and trade exhibitions for clients working in a wide range of sectors including medical, educational, engineering and scientific at venues all over the country.

Amy is passionate about the events industry in New Zealand and loves the collaborative nature of how people work here. Amy is keen to help those who are young and new to the industry to give them the support they need to progress so that they can continue to work in such an exciting industry.

In her spare time, Amy likes to take advantage of what her adopted home of Wellington offers from music gigs, restaurants, cinema and gallery visits and fo course the great events the city puts on each year.

Jacinta has been with Accor Hotels for 5 years, and has taken her to three different cities, Wellington being the latest! As the Sales and Marketing Manager for Sofitel Wellington, Jacinta is responsible for driving all market segments that make up Sofitel's business mix and ensuring Sofitel Wellington is front of mind when it comes to a luxury hotel product in Wellington. Jacinta is passionate about hotels and the wider industry, and is a believer in a positive attitude and that the brightest smile can take you to new heights!

Siobhan Tanoa
Siobhan Tanoa is currently Business Development Manager for Business Events Wellington (BEW), Wellington's Convention Bureau. Working for the past three years for BEW, Siobhan is focused on the National Market, ensuring Wellington is seen as a desirable business events destination and is always on the radar for MICE business. Previous to this role, Siobhan was working for the Department of Internal Affairs, taking care of the Department's events.

Siobhan is motivated to helping those up and coming in the industry, seek professional development opportunities and support. Her passion for the industry, and her want to share means others can continue to see how truly great the opportuntities are within the Business Events industry.

Wellington born and bred, Siobhan enjoys the Welly lifestyle in her spare time. Whether it is catching a live performance, dining out in some of Wellington's hidden gems, or catching a rugby match at the Cake Tin (as Wellington locals fondly call Westpac Stadium!)
