Alexia Santamaria has worked in the media for over a decade as a sub editor, deputy editor and freelance journalist. She also helps commercial clients write media releases, giving her a complete understanding of PR from both sides of the fence.
She loves explaining the inside workings of magazines and newspapers to people so they understand how to get their business noticed, without the help of a PR agency. She runs a company called Your Business Bio where she assists companies to tell, and present their story in a compelling way.
Alexia also does overseas travel writing (her favourite part of the job) so knows what journalists are looking for when they come to this beautiful country. She can advise companies on how to try and entice journalists to New Zealand by creating engaging famil programs.
