For 150 years Auckland Museum, has protected and cared for the taonga, the treasures, of Iwi and Hapu from throughout Aotearoa. And together we are now forging ahead, to create new levels of understanding and enlightenment in the presentation of Maori culture and customary values, that will benefit all visitors to our city.

The Maori Cultural performers at the Auckland Museum are considered among the best in the country and can be booked for private functions either at the Museum, or elsewhere.

Whether you need a rousing welcome/powhiri to open an event, a live cultural performance at a gala dinner or an interaction and photo opportunity with the performers for your overseas clientele, your guests will enjoy a warm, vibrant and entertaining glimpse of Maori culture culminating in a high-energy spine-tingling version of our most celebrated dance, the world famous haka. Your Maori cultural experience can include the opportunity to meet, talk and take photos with our very friendly performers, perfect to complement any event of a culture unique to our country.

Auckland Museum can provide a rousing and inspiring cultural element to any event.

The Museum and its products ares a Qualmark Endorsed Visitor Activity with a Silver Enviro rating.
